I bought this chair primarily for my wife to use on the porch. We've had it for about 6 months and it is a comfortable chair. Yesterday, however, my wife sat in it and the plastic fitting on the front corner where the fabric attaches to the frame broke. Since my wife is WAY under the stated 300lb capacity of the chair and the chair has been on a porch out of the UV and fairly well protected from the elements, I can only conclude that it was built way too lightly for its intended use.

I'm 6'3" and weigh 250 lbs, and standard camp chairs are always a bit small for me. Plus, they are designed for the sub-200 pounders, and so don't last very long. This chair is made of sterner stuff. You can choose how much recline you want, though you have to get up to reset it. It weighs a bit more than the standard chair, but if carrying that little bit of extra weight is a problem, you probably don't need this chair anyway. It's very comfortable - mine has seen me through many high school soccer games and picnics - and of course has the requisite can holder. The colour is pretty funky, but hey, it works great.

so portable (you can pick it up with a finger, I'm using it in my
office to relax in. Amazing how something so inexpensive could
